The coffee coming from the regions around Lake Toba is rated as top variety all over the world.Yet, there are less and less peasants to do that. They prefer growing corn, cocoa or pineapple instead. Because, they say, you can’t make ends meet on coffee anymore.

So, last November I lost my heart to Sumatra – a beautiful, wild, untameable island. When we parted, with tears in our eyes (especially mine) we didn’t think we’d see each other again (especially her).
